We have a band of dedicated marshals who are happy to offer any help or advice on the day.

BLUE - Standard vehicle on road tyres, suitable for novices who have some basic 4x4 driving experience. You will need to be familiar with your vehicles controls and handling the vehicle off road.

BLACK - Lift Kit, Winch, Mud Tyres, these routes are extreme and you will require the use of your winch!

To all off road drivers everywhere!
Remember, above all else, that all land belongs to someone.
Its your duty to care for the environment
Always drive at a slow speed never above 10MPH.
Keep all damage to a minimum (never attach a winch to a tree without protecting the bark)

What people think of the off road site and the staff

Testimonial received Tuesday 24th February 2009

Hi Rebbecca

Just a quick email to say a big thankyou for the event you hosted on Sunday
- I had a fantastic time as can be seen from the attached photo! It was my
first time at Parkwood but it definitely won't be my last. I was really
impressed by the organisation, marked routes, marshalls etc as well as the
muddy stuff.

I've not had this Landy long and have done some greenlaning and a bit of
offroading before but it was great to see just what it could do on different
types of challenging terrain. In the morning I took things steady but in the
afternoon I was going up/down routes I thought was impossible for anyone to
do earlier in the day :)

Keep up the good work!

Richard

I would just like to extend my thanks to Rebbecca and the team for an absolutely outstanding day. From the moment we arrived, it being our first time at Parkwood, we were made to feel so welcome.

Rebbecca gave me a short talk on where to go and what to do as I was using my day to day car, my Range Rover. She was very informative saying to just stay to the Blue routes and if I wanted to try a Red route to have a look to see if not only the car but myself was capable of doing it.

She very nearly caught me attemting to go for a wee just after I had look at one such route!!!! She did advise me, however, not to try it as it was quite difficult. I did, however, try many of said routes and found both car and driver coped admirably.

Thank you once again, it is the best £35 I have ever spent. We will, without a shadow of doubt, be coming again.

Regards

Jamie McCulloch
