About Parkwood Outdoors Ltd
Parkwood Outdoors Ltd is a family business and is run by father and daughter team David and Rebbeeca Hoare. It was set up by the the pair to provide events and training at the venue Parkwood Off Road Centre. We provide a friendly and professional service to all of our clients.
David Hoare is the facilities manager and off road instructor and has over 30 years off road driving experience. He has maintained and managed parkwood off road centre for over a decade. The centre and all its exciting routes and challenges were created and still managed by him today. He is a keen enduro rider and plans routes for our monthly practice sessions to suit all levels. Both are enthusiasts of anything with 2 and 4 wheels that can be driven off road. Between them they`ve gained over 40 years experience and can offer you the complete package from start to finish.
Rebbecca Hoare is the lead 4x4 instructor, events/site manager and has over 10 years experience of providing professional 4x4 training and has managed 1000s of events from group 4x4 training to major large scale events. Rebbecca has been driving off road for over 15 years and has completed numerous 4x4 training courses, an instructional techniques course, fire extinguisher training and winch training courses and holds a current first aid certificate. Rebbecca knows health and safety is vital and oversees the health and safety for all events and training days held at the venue.
All our 4x4 marshals have well equipped vehicles. We also use self employed 4x4 instructors all of which are fully trained. All marshals and instructors have a minimum of 5 years experience, Parkwood Outdoors Ltd has a policy to ensure all have completed a fire extinguisher course and winch training course.
All trials and Enduro marshals have many years of experience and include Mark and Gavin Houson who have over 30 years experience between them. After recently completing the Scott Trial the pair are now looking forward to the 2012 Enduro racing calendar, Gavin riding the Britsh Enduro Championship and British Sprint Championship in the elite class, and Mark having already won the Eddy`s Xtreme Enduro (ventran class) In January 2011 and the first round of Eddy`s Xtreme Championship on 5th December 2011. He will now be riding the next two rounds one of which will be held at Parkwood on Sunday 8th Januray 2012.
The company has employees and public liability insurance and a health and safety policy.
The Future

The future for Parkwood Outdoors Ltd is training and development. We have more training courses planned for our marshals. The company will be working towards becoming a Lantra Registered Training Provider.
An ACU instructor training course for one of the marshals is also been planned.
Succesful completion will give the company the opportunity to offer Lantra 4x4 training courses a (qualification recognised by the government) and Auto Cycle Union training courses for trials and enduro riders covering all riding safety aspects. Courses will be offered to suit beginners and advanced riders.
